Chandigarh, June 07 (ANI): Lending support to the call of the Punjab Revenue Officers Association, several revenue officials of the state have gone on mass leave from June 01 to 06 to protest the suspension of two officials and ambiguity in the government’s instructions on no-objection certificates (NOCs) for land registration. However, the Punjab government have termed their demands to be illegal and also warned them of strict actions if they did not return to service. Speaking on the protest, Punjab Revenue Minister, Brahm Shankar Jimpa said, “Their demand as per norms by HC & SC is wrong. Registering without NOC has always been wrong. If they don't come back to work, this will be counted as no work, no pay with break in service.
