Radicals blaze school in Gilgit Baltistan for teaching English, science

Diamer, Gilgit Baltistan, April 06, 2021:- Massive protests erupted in the Diamer district of illegally occupied Gilgit Baltistan after Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa based terrorists targeted a school in the region and set it on fire. The terrorists attacked the school because it taught students science and English literature. These Islamic radicals, the followers of the extremist ideology of Wahhabism have been advocating strict adherence to Sharia and have time and again attacked academic institutions for following a progressive western education model. In a rare display of disaffection towards the government, even the school students took to the streets. They demanded security for institutes and punishment to perpetrators.
