Rajasthan is becoming a model state in medical, health services: CM Gehlot

Jaipur (Rajasthan) September 09 (ANI): Rajasthan is emerging as the leading state of the country in the field of health services. The state government is working with full commitment so that the best medical facilities can be provided to the people of the state. Under this, recently a review meeting of the medical department was called by Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot. During this, he launched the Chief Minister Chiranjeevi Jeevan Raksha Yojana. Under this scheme, a resident of any state of the country injured in a road accident can get free treatment for 72 hours in private and government hospitals affiliated to Chief Minister Chiranjeevi Health Insurance Scheme. Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that Rajasthan is emerging as a model state in the field of medical and health services. In the state, 7 percent of the budget is being spent on medical and health services. Along with expensive tests like MRI, CT scan, liver transplant, bone marrow transplant is being provided free of cost in the state.
