Rajasthan CM Bhajanlal Sharma attends regional review meeting on renewable energy in Jaipur

Jaipur (Rajasthan), Jan 21 (ANI): Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma attended the regional review meeting on renewable energy in Jaipur on January 21. Union Minister Pralhad Joshi also present in the event. New and Renewable energy ministers of various states, representatives, officials were also present in the meeting. Discussions were held on development of renewable energy, investment possibilities in wind energy sector and future plans in Rajasthan. “Under the Pradhan Mantri Surya Ghar Free Electricity Scheme, the process of installing rooftop panels in five lakh houses of the state is underway and so far it has been installed in about 25000 houses. The work of equipping all the buildings of the state with solar energy has started. Achieving these targets will not only increase investment in the state but will also increase new employment and business. This will significantly contribute to the achievement of the national renewable energy goals and energy requirements of the country. With the joint efforts of the Rajasthan government and the central government, the state is progressing rapidly not only in the field of solar energy but also in the field of wind energy and hybrid energy,” said Bhajanlal Sharma.
