Rajasthan CM Bhajanlal Sharma conducts surprise inspection at water pump houses in Jaipur

Jaipur (Rajasthan), May 29, (ANI): Rajasthan CM Bhajanlal Sharma conducted a surprise inspection at water pump houses in Jaipur on May 29 seeing the problem of drinking water supply amid the severe heatwave. According to IMD, Jaipur recorded a highest temperature of 46.6°C today. Speaking to ANI, he said, “This is the summer season, and I can say that the previous government deceived Rajasthan. A major scheme called JJM (Jal Jeevan Mission) was introduced. If I say that no other government has allocated as much money to each district as this one, it wouldn't be wrong. Even if that money was allocated, it was spent on corruption. Today, all the in-charge officers across the state are on a two-day tour. I also thought of going to Jaipur to see if there were any water issues. However, I want to express my gratitude because I saw two pump houses where the department was fully engaged and working diligently”.
