Srinagar, June 07 (ANI): Rare Heritage Exhibition attracted people, especially history-loving students in Srinagar. It was organised by the Directorate of Archives, Archaeology and Museums with an aim to inform people about the rich past of Kashmir. Authorities installed wall paintings of unique monuments including shrines, temples, mosques and other century’s old buildings. Kashmir has five to seven thousand of year’s old rich cultural history. But due to dozens of reasons including the impact of western culture, the young generation is not fully aware of the rich history. Lakhs of tourists also come from different parts of the world to enjoy the mesmerizing beauty of Kashmir. So that’s why, such types of exhibitions will become fruitful as it increases heritage tourism in the valley.
