Rare Persian manuscripts exhibition attracts culture-loving people in Kashmir

Srinagar (J&K), Nov 21 (ANI): The rare exhibition of Persian manuscripts attracted culture-loving people in Jammu and Kashmir. The exhibition titled “Insha-e-Darab” was organised jointly by Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage. The aim of the exhibition was to educate people about the rich Persian culture of Kashmir. It was based on the rare manuscripts of the famous Persian writer, poet, and researcher Khawaja Muhammad Amin Darab. The exhibition attracted a good number of scholars and students from different universities and colleges. About 33 rare manuscripts along with 11 books by Khawaja Mohamad Darab were exhibited. This exhibition depicted the rich past along with the considered official language of Jammu and Kashmir, Persian.
