‘Reason to celebrate’: Ex-TSD chief Col Hunny Bakshi as UN lists Abdul Makki as ‘global terrorist’

New Delhi, Jan 17 (ANI): Calling it a great news, former covert ops unit chief of now disbanded Technical Support Division (TSD) Colonel Hunny Bakshi on January 17 congratulated India on UN declaring Abdul Rehman Makki as a ‘global terrorist’. Abdul Rehman Makki, brother-in-law of LeT chief Hafiz Saeed, had his name involved in the 26/11 Mumbai attack. Reminding Pakistan of its own trial on Makki, Bakshi also took a dig at the country for asking for hard evidence after UN’s ‘global terrorist’ declaration. “Heard a good news today. Pakistan based terrorist Abdul Rehman Makki, brother-in-law of LeT leader Hafiz Saeed, has been declared as a ‘global terrorist’ by the UN. Makki was responsible for the 26/11 attack. Pakistan government also did a trial under their ‘anti-terror court’. However, he was released after a fine of Rs 50,000. UN has finally declared him as a ‘global terrorist’. Pakistan is asking for hard evidence after this declaration. I congratulate India and its government who worked for this,” Hunny Bakshi said.
