Rupee movement orderly against USD; depreciated only 7.4 pc this FY: RBI Governor

Mumbai, Sep 30 (ANI): While addressing a Press Conference, Reserve Bank of India Governor Shaktikanta Das on September 30 said that the movement of the Indian Rupee has however been orderly compared to most other countries; Indian Rupee depreciated by 7.4 per cent against US dollar this financial year. “During the current FY up to September 28, the US dollar has appreciated by 14.5 percent against a basket of major currencies. The movement of the Indian Rupee has however been orderly compared to most other countries; Indian Rupee depreciated by 7.4 pc against US dollar,” said Shaktikanta Das.
