Russian Energy Week held in Moscow

Moscow (Russia), October 19 (ANI): Under the motto "global energy in a multipolar world" - the 5th "Russian Energy Week" International Forum held recently in Moscow. The participants discussed the potential of BRICS+ technological partnerships as they believe that fuel energy is currently one of the most promising areas of cooperation. Deputy Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation, Sergei Mochalnikov said that the focus is on ensuring a reliable and affordable energy supply for all inhabitants of the planet. The exchange of experience, according to experts, is an important aspect of international cooperation within BRICS, all the more so, given the prospects for expansion of the alliance. The forum also discussed science and technology cooperation between Russia and ASEAN countries. Participants in this session announced the launch of a number of joint high-tech projects. As Hongpen Liu pointed out, such an approach would help accelerate the energy transition. The overall aim is to develop the energy industry, but also to minimise the impact on the environment. According to Ivan Polyakov, Chairman of the Russia-ASEAN business council, a unified regional gas network would help strengthen collective energy security. This is confirmed by the signing of a letter of intent in cooperation between the Russian energy agency of the Ministry of Energy of Russia and the ASEAN Centre for energy. A number of cooperation agreements were signed at the forum. Russian energy week is about joint plans for the future, constructive dialogue and the presentation of innovations. The interactive exhibition showcased the latest developments. For example - the first electric crossover was produced in Russia. It has already gained recognition in the Russian market and international partners at this show have shown great interest. A delegation from Myanmar was interested in a floating nuclear power plant. The guests of the stand went on a virtual journey through Chukotka. Its participants discussed the future of the world oil and gas market.
