The Russian Institute of Theatre Arts- GITIS’ team is on a recruiting drive for its acting department and the musical theatre department. Experts travel all over Russia in search of young talent. The Russian Institute of Theatre Arts - GITIS is a participant in the "Priority 2030" program by the Ministry of Education and Science. There are enough applicants to choose from at GITIS. Last year the admission board in Moscow auditioned 10,000 people. And that's just the first round, which ends in a miss for 95% of applicants. But not all Russian families can send their children to the capital to try their luck. The regional offsite auditions give young people a chance to make a name for themselves and enter one of the best creative universities in the country on a scholarship.
