Mar 09, 2023
Moscow (Russia), Mar 09 (ANI/ TV BRICS): In the near future, doctors will be able to give commands to a device remotely that could monitor the patient's condition and even control the dispensing of pills. Mark Baranov and Sasha Sukhotsky are the youngest participants in the international contest of inventors. Their development was recognised with a gold medal, and the Eurasian patent committee suggested that the rights should be documented, especially as the device's functionality can be extended further.Participants from 45 countries presented their inventions at the contest. Despite the fierce competition, one more gold medal came to Moscow for a medical device by Anastasia Eliseeva, a first-year medical student. So far, the device has only 10 diagnoses in its arsenal, such as Asthma, Pneumonia, and Covid lung lesions. An invention at the interface of medicine and technology has also attracted the interest of the Eurasian patent commission. This device, unlike the non-technological stethoscope, can be worn on the body to monitor changes in condition. Every 4 hours, a reading of the lung noises is taken. For now, the young inventors are preparing their devices for a patent. And at the next contest new unexpected projects will be presented.
