Secretariat employees in PoK receive no salaries, hold anti-government protests

Muzaffarabad, PoK, 29 May 2023: - Members of the All Secretariat Employees Association in Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) took to the streets of Muzaffarabad against the government over the non-payment of their salaries and allowances since January. Amid record-breaking inflation and discriminatory governance in the occupied region, the junior-level secretariat employees are fuming over the administration. For the last several days, the employees have been protesting against the government in Muzaffarabad-demanding their allowances and salaries.
