Service delivery of public welfare schemes should be improved: CM Ashok Gehlot

Jaipur (Rajasthan) June 20 (ANI): In a review meeting of the Chief Minister's Service Delivery Cell at his residence, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said that it is the government's priority to complete the implementation of various public welfare schemes, infrastructure, projects and budget announcements. CM Service Delivery Cell has been constituted to ensure the quality of these schemes and works and to provide maximum and speedy benefits to the common man.He said that there has been an increase in the dissemination and transparency of the schemes of the government by adopting 'best practices' of various sectors, simplification of procedures and engaging the services of leading international consultants to give policy suggestions. The benefits of the schemes are easily reaching the common man. During the meeting, the CM directed the officers to make available information of the nearest hospital according to the disease to the general public on the toll-free number 181. He also directed to ensure that benefits of all the flagship schemes of the state reach the common man in a time-bound manner, personal contact should be made with the beneficiaries in all the districts of the state.
