Ganderbal (J&K), January 02 (ANI): In a bid to preserve and promote the rich cultural heritage of Kashmir, a seven-day theatre workshop was organized in Ganderbal district, Central Kashmir. The workshop, which ran from December 25 to December 31, saw a significant participation from art-loving students, especially from schools and colleges, eager to keep the region’s theatre culture alive. Organized by the Azad Dramatic Cultural Club of Ganderbal, the workshop aimed to revive traditional cultural activities, particularly theatre, which has been overshadowed by newer forms of entertainment such as cinema and digital platforms. The event drew a positive response, with students enthusiastically engaging in both theoretical and practical sessions led by experienced theatre experts and senior artists.
