Srinagar (J&K), November 9 (ANI): Shakespeare’s “Macbeth” translated into Kashmiri language attracted theatre lovers at Tagore Hall in Srinagar. Directed by Arshad Mushtaq, the play blends Shakespeare’s themes of ambition and power with the vibrant cultural backdrop of Kashmir. The aim was to offer a dedicated platform for young artists eager to preserve and carry forward this cultural legacy in the future. In addition to the senior artists, several young school students took the stage for the first time, their excitement was evident throughout the performance. The visually stunning performance captivated a packed audience at Tagore Hall, leaving them in awe. Audience praised the initiative and called for more local language theatre productions.
