Shut power supply in your homes: Chhattisgarh CM tells demonstrators of coal mining
Jun 05, 2022
Kanker (Chhattisgarh), June 05 (ANI): Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on June 04 slammed the ongoing protest against coal mining in the state and underlined the need for coal. “Some people are merely doing politics in protesting against the operation of mines. They should first shut power supply in their homes in that case,” he said. “We're largely dependent on thermal power and for that we need coal for which mines have to be operated. If a mine is operated there'll be expansion and trees will be cut but more trees will be planted. Only 8,000 trees will be cut this year, but it's being exaggerated,” added Bhupesh Baghel.
