Srinagar girl Shafiya Shafi revives Kashmiri culture through Paper Mache art

Srinagar, July 15 (ANI): Kashmiri culture and heritage have been forgotten by the new generations, but 26-year-old Shafiya Shafi from Srinagar started the revival of old heritage by making Paper Mache art design. Paper Mache is a combination of craft and fine art from the Kashmir Valley. Shafi posted a few Paper Mache art on social media and received an overwhelming response. Now she is getting recognition at the national and international level. People stepped in to support her in this new venture. Shafiya Shafi aspires to take this art form across the globe.
