Dec 12, 2022
Srinagar, Dec 12 (ANI): Local girls are now getting training for skill development to empower themselves and give jobs to others in Srinagar. Non-governmental Organisation Prayas Juvenile Aid Centre (JAC) Society started an initiative to empower women in different trades in Srinagar and other districts. They set up a cutting and tailoring centre in the Shalteng area of Srinagar to give free training to women and girls. The centre is well equipped with the latest technology and experts gave training to them with these technologies. They first gave them training through the paper for practice. Trainees got all the basic training of machines as how to handle these machines so that they can repair any basic fault themselves. It gives them a lot of benefits as they can set up their own units after completing the training. They can also give jobs to others.
