Strength of Congress party is increasing with presidential election: Shashi Tharoor

Bhopal (MP) Oct 14 (ANI): Congress presidential poll candidate Shashi Tharoor on October 14 during a press conference in Bhopal said that the strength of the Congress party is increasing with the presidential election. Shashi Tharoor said, “It has become clear from the election that the strength of the Congress party is increasing. The National President is not elected by election in any other party in the country. Those who speak about democracy should show this within their party as well.” He also said, “In this election, Kharge sahib and I have different resolutions in front of our party. Be it Kharge sahib's victory or mine, we both want the Congress party to win.” Continuing further, he added, “It's up to Congress’ Chief Election Authority to take action on it. He had clearly said that no office bearers should campaign for a candidate. It's true that the type of welcome, and fairness which I got here, I didn't get in any other state.”
