Srinagar, April 13, (ANI): After a prolonged hiatus due to the disruptions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, students visited SPS museum to learn about the rich history of Kashmir. Situated along the serene banks of the Jhelum river, this four-story repository of Kashmir's cultural wealth welcomed the young visitors with open arms, offering them a rare glimpse into the region's storied past. Stepping away from their screens and into the halls adorned with ancient artifacts, the students were transported through millennia of history, marveling at the intricate displays of old costumes, utensils, coins, manuscripts, weapons, and more. Amidst the excitement and wonderment, the educational significance of such excursions became evident, as students expressed gratitude for the opportunity to deepen their understanding of Kashmir's rich cultural tapestry beyond the confines of their textbooks.
