Supreme Court of India’s YouTube channel hacked, shows videos of US-based company ‘Ripple’

New Delhi September 20 (ANI): In a shocking incident, the official YouTube channel of the Supreme Court got hacked on September 18. The channel was showing videos that were promoting cryptocurrency developed by a US-based company ‘Ripple labs’. The news was flagged when a blank video “Brad Garlinghouse: Ripple Responds…” was live on the SC’s channel. Later, YouTube removed the whole channel from the video platform quoting “violation of the community guidelines”. The Supreme Court has been using YouTube to stream live hearings of cases listed before Constitution benches
