Surat jeweller carves 156 gm gold idol of PM Modi to celebrate BJP’s Gujarat win

Surat (Gujarat), Jan 21 (ANI): To commemorate the landslide victory of Bharatiya Janata Party in the recently held Gujarat assembly elections, a jewellery manufacturing company from Surat city has carved a gold idol of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. As the BJP won 156 out of 182 seats, the weight of the idol was kept 156 gm. 18 carat gold worth Rs 11 lakh was used to make this idol. A team of around 25 people worked hard for 3 months to make the idol. “We paid attention to detail for every single thing. It took 3 days to make his glasses,” said Jeweller Sandeep Jain.
