Telangana Government gear up to fight COVID sets up testing centres at hospitals

Hyderabad (Telangana), Jan 04 (ANI): Telangana Government is preparing the state and taking necessary precautionary measures to prevent a pandemic like the initial waves of the corona. The state has set up testing centres for COVID in Golconda Area Hospital. It has also provided all facilities like beds and other medical facilities. According to the Medical Superintendent of Golconda Area Hospital, Dr Mohammad Mazharullah ", we are seeing in the news that the XBB variant of the corona has reached India and also the BF.7 variants, which is a sub-variant of Omicron. Under this light, on the instructions of the Government around 40-50 COVID tests are going on in this hospital. We have a separate testing centre here. Almost all the rapid tests, tested here are negative. A few cases that request RTPCR is also being done and sent to higher centres. In the view of corona, we are doing testing, tracing, treatment and further follow-up here. We are ready here with all facilities including beds, testing and treatment with the help and support of Chief Minister KCR, Health Minister Harish Rao, Government officials, MLA Kausar Moinuddin and MP Asaduddin Owaisi. We are fully prepared for any COVID cases that might come here."
