Telangana govt provides two-wheelers to physically disabled persons

Hyderabad, October 13 (ANI): Telangana government under the Aasara scheme has provided two-wheeler vehicles to working physically disabled people. This scheme has helped many disabled people who are facing problem in travelling in public transport. Now with the help of the scheme, they are going to work on their own vehicle. Aasara Pension Scheme was launched by the Telangana government in 2014. The welfare scheme provides pension to elderly, widows, patients suffering from elephantiasis, AIDS, physically disabled persons, beedi workers and single women. Feroz, a resident of Masab Tank is a disabled person. Talking to ANI, he said, “Telangana Government sanctioned me two-wheeler vehicle. Earlier when I used to travel through bus, I used to a face a lot of problems, but now after I got this two-wheeler vehicle from government, it has become very convenient to travel now. I thank Telangana government and CM KCR for helping people like me who are disabled.”Mohd Akil, his employer said, “Mohd Feroz is working at my place from last one year. He is disabled but he is so hard working. Before he used to come by bus, he used to be late to work but now Telangana government has given him a two-wheeler vehicle, now he is coming on time to work. After KCR became CM, he is helping many poor people.”
