Telangana Govt sets up Basti Dawakhanas, giving free treatment to poor people

Hyderabad, October 18 (ANI): In order to provide Health care services to urban poor Telangana government has established Basti Dawakhanas in urban slums. These establishments give free treatment to poor people. Dr Syeda working as a doctor at the basti dawakhana in Hyderabad said, “It was inaugurated in October 2019 by MLA Kowsar Moinuddin. Daily OPs are above 110. We have all the facilities of NCD drugs. We also conduct BP sugar tests and provide medicine. We also maintain a book and provide Monthly medicines to patients. We also have specialist doctors. We also have a stock always ready. There is no scarcity of medicines and they are always available. We send the test to Telangana diagnostic labs and we get the online report. Thanks to Telangana government for giving great opportunity to give free serve to people.” Rizwana begum said, “We are coming to this hospital from one year and medicines are also available and getting good treatment. Thanks to KCR Government. The hospital is better than a private one.” Syed Sami Ahmed said, “The basti dawakhana in Darga nagar is very good. The medicine which is given is very good. Thanks to KCR and MLA Kowsar moinuddin. It is better than a Private hospital.”
