Terror suspects killed man to demonstrate commitment to their handlers: Delhi Police

New Delhi, Jan 15 (ANI): The Delhi Police’s Special Cell busted two terrorists with two military-grade hand grenades, 3 pistols, and cartridges on January 15 from the Jahangirpuri area of New Delhi. Both the terrorists have been kept under 14-day police custody and further investigation is being carried out to bust the entire network. While addressing the press conference, Pramod Kushwaha Additional CP (Special Cell) shared that the terrorists killed a man in December 2022 to demonstrate their capabilities to their handlers. Adding further he said, “Naushad(terrorist) was being handled by a suspected LeT handler. While Jagjit's handler was a Canada-based terrorist, Arshdeep Dalla. They were being funded and were planning to target right-wing leaders and preparing for the same.” “Delhi Special cell caught 2 terrorists, Naushad & Jagjit, on Jan 12 from Jahangirpuri & recovered 2 military-grade hand grenades, 3 pistols & cartridges. They killed a man in December 2022 only to demonstrate their capabilities to their handlers,” said Pramod Kushwaha, Addl CP, Special Cell. “Investigation (in the case of 2 terrorists held by Special Cell) is on. The terrorists have been kept under 14-day police custody. Our teams did a good job by taking prompt action otherwise some untoward incident could've taken place,” said HGS Dhaliwal, Special CP, Special Cell.
