Thane Boiler Blast | Death toll rises to 7; over 40 injured | State Govt announces compensation

Thane (Maharashtra) May 24 (ANI): As many as 7 died, and over 40 were injured after a massive boiler blast in Thane on May 23. The injured people were rushed to a nearby hospital and the rescue operation is still underway. Maharashtra Govt ordered a high-level probe and has announced ex-gratia to kin of deceased, injured. Extra-gratia of 5 lakhs will be conferred to kin of deceased while govt will bear the treatment cost of injured.
