Tokyo Paralympics Gold medalist Shuttlers Krishna Nagar, Pramod Bhagat to receive Khel Ratna Awards

New Delhi, Nov 12 (ANI): Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports has announced the National Sports Awards 2021. The awardees will receive their awards from the President of India at a specially organized function at the Darbar Hall of Rashtrapati Bhavan on November 13. “My dreams are getting fulfilled gradually. It's a proud moment. I first won gold, then I was selected for Khel Ratna Award. It feels good. Everyone in my family is elated. It took me years to cover the distance to all of this,” said Paralympic gold medalist shuttler Krishna Nagar on Nov 12. “I'm receiving Khel Ratna Award this year. I feel good because the nation treated able-bodied and para athletes equally. We won 19 medals in Paralympics, we'll win more in the time to come and keep bringing laurels to the nation,” said Tokyo Paralympics gold medalist shuttler Pramod Bhagat on Nov 12.
