New York (USA) April 05 (ANI): Former US President Donald Trump on April 04 pleaded ‘not guilty’ to 34 felony counts of falsifying business records in Manhattan criminal court. After which, Trump left the Manhattan criminal courthouse after an arraignment which lasted under an hour. This investigation started in 2016 hush-money payment made to adult film star to conceal an alleged affair. Altogether, the charges carry a maximum sentence of more than 100 years in prison under New York law. If Trump is convicted, an actual prison sentence would certainly be far less than that. Donald Trump became the first sitting or former U.S. president to face criminal charges. Earlier, he surrendered to authorities at a court in Lower Manhattan ahead of his arraignment.
