Upliftment of every section is the state Govt’s priority: CM Ashok Gehlot

Jaipur, 18 January (ANI): Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said that upliftment of every section is the priority of the state government. The Chief Minister was addressing a two-day Chintan Shivir organised by the Rajasthan Government in Jaipur. During this, he instructed the officials to ensure the timely and effective implementation of all the schemes of the state government so that the common man could get their full benefits. He said that strict action should be taken against the personnel who cause unnecessary delay in the disposal of common people's works. Apart from this, the Chief Minister said that Rajasthan is the leading state in the whole country in maintaining law and order. The number of cases has increased due to the policy of compulsory FIR registration but in comparison to other states, the victims are getting speedy justice in Rajasthan. Along with this, the Chief Minister said that despite the policy of compulsory registration of FIR in Rajasthan, in the year 2021, about 5 per cent lesser crimes have been registered as compared to 2019. While 17 states and union territories including Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Gujarat and Uttarakhand have registered more cases.
