US Diplomats condemn mass shootings across America

New Delhi, June 07 (ANI): A day after nine people were killed and several got injured after mass shootings erupted over the US, US Envoys on June 07 condemned the incident saying such events are terrible and they added that they want to ensure students’ safety. “Gun violence events are terrible. Many such events have happened at primary and secondary schools. US universities are safe places, they've their police force and strong controls on who enters premises,” said Donald Heflin, Minister Counselor for Consular Affairs, US Embassy to India. “US universities want to ensure students' safety. They've implemented programs to ensure campuses are safe by issuing IDs. Blue light phone booths there in universities connecting directly to police” said Anthony Miranda, Counselor for Cultural and Educational Affairs, US Embassy to India.
