Garima Vyas, a young athlete from Vadodara, Gujarat, has defied all odds after being paralyzed at the age of 14. Despite her spinal cord injury, Garima excelled in state and national competitions, setting records and winning multiple medals. In October, she achieved a remarkable feat, clinching a gold medal at the 24th National Para Swimming Championship in Goa, setting a national record in the 100-meter breaststroke with a time of 3 minutes and 26 seconds. Her journey was supported by her mother, Kejal Pandya, who left her career to help Garima chase her dreams, alongside her dedicated coach, Vivek Singh.
