“Vote bank politics” Jaishankar slams Canada over Indira Gandhi’s assassination tableau in Brampton

New Delhi, June 8 (ANI): Videos of parade in Canada’s Brampton, depicting the assassination of former PM Indira Gandhi sparked outrage. On June 8, EAM S Jaishankar sharply reacted to the reports of the controversial Khalistani event in Canada. Indian High Commissioner to Canada on June 8 tweet that he was “appalled by the event”. EAM also gave a scathing reply to Canada’s NSA Jody Thomas for accusing India of meddling in country’s internal affairs. India has time and again raised concerns over pro-Khalistani activities in Canada.
