“Want to see Pakistan in economically sustainable position…” says US as PAK nears bankruptcy

Washington DC (USA), January 19 (ANI): Pakistan’s economic condition is in the doldrums as inflation skyrocketing and the country’s forex reserves hit an eight-year low, the United States expressed its desire to see Pakistan in an economically sustainable position. Spokesperson of Department of State, Ned Price said, “I know that Pakistan has been working with the IMF, with international financial institutions. We want to see Pakistan in an economically sustainable position. Those conversations, as I understand them, are ongoing. We are supportive where we can be of our Pakistani partners, but ultimately these are conversations between Pakistan and international financial institutions,” said Department of State Spokesperson Ned Price.
