Waste recycling complex gets operational in Moscow to protect environment

Nov 24, 2021

Moscow (Russia), Nov 24, 2021, (ANI): The waste reform procedure is continuing in Russia where recycling complexes are opening all over the country including the Moscow region. A new recycling complex is operational next to Kashira in Moscow. This plant can take up to 300,000 tons of recyclable materials per year. In this process of recycling, the rubbish is freed from bags and packages by a special machine and the waste flows to the plant on a conveyor. The next step in the recycling process is machine sorting where a washing machine-like drum is used to separate rubbish by size and composition. The way of organic waste, from orange peel to dried pizza, is completely different. The sorted element later goes to a special warehouse where fermentation takes place. The organic waste in this warehouse turns into a useful product much faster. The operator of Kashira plant is already implementing the project and is also expanding the existing recycling complex.
