We’re probing role of coaching institutes in violence over Agnipath scheme: Patna DM

Patna (Bihar), June 18 (ANI): Amid ongoing protest by youth over Agnipath scheme launched by central government, District Magistrate of Patna Chandrashekhar Singh on June 10 said that strict action will be taken against those involved in violence. While talking to ANI, Chandrashekhar Singh said, “We have deployed security forces at crucial spots. We appeal to students to protest peacefully. FIR was filed against 170 people, and 46 arrested for vandalisation at Danapur railway station. Strict action to be taken against those involved in violence.” “Video footage and WhatsApp messages of some coaching centres were found on mobile devices of those arrested. We're probing the role of coaching centres based on that content. Stringent action will be taken against coaching institutes whose involvement will be established,” he added.
