West Bengal: Annual holiday for ‘Bengal Safari’ elephants on occasion of ‘Vishwakarma Puja’ in Siliguri

Siliguri (West Bengal), September 18 (ANI): The Bengal Safari elephants enjoyed their much awaited annual holiday on the occasion of ‘Vishwakarma Puja’ on September 17. Mahouts of the Bengal Safari worshipped their elephants on the occasion of ‘Vishwakarma Puja’. They prayed for the well-being of their elephants on the occasion. Swapan Narjinari, a Mahout said, “We've two female elephants named Urmila and Laxmi. The puja has been done for the well-being of the elephants.”
