What PM Modi told POTUS for vaccines, revealed by EAM Jaishankar

Vadodara (Gujarat), Oct 01 (ANI): Union External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar informed about the reason why the US gave India an exemption in Defence Production Act during the COVID-19. The Union Minister was attending an interaction program in Vadodara, Gujarat on October 01. “During COVID-19, PM Modi asked US President not to stop the vaccine supply chain for India and the world and as a result of that, the US administration gave India an exemption in the Defence Production Act and due to that our vaccination program went smoothly,” the Union Minister said.
