“This will help people of Jaffna…” MoS Murugan thanks PM Modi for Jaffna Cultural Centre’s dedication program

Jaffna (Sri Lanka), Feb 10 (ANI): Union Minister of State (MoS) for Information and Broadcasting L Murugan, who is on a four-day visit to Sri Lanka, visited Thalaimannar from where ferry services are proposed to be resumed between two nations to enhance business exchanges. Built with an Indian government grant, the Centre will stand as a symbol of the growing bilateral and developmental ties between India and Sri Lanka. Speaking to ANI, L Murugan thanked PM Modi and said that the Jaffna Cultural Centre dedication program will help the people of Jaffna. “Tomorrow, I am going to participate in the Jaffna Cultural Centre dedication program. In this historical Jaffna Cultural Centre, the foundation stone laid by our PM when he came to Jaffna in 2015. He was the 1st PM to visit Jaffna. This cultural centre is a unique iconic centre of 11 stored building and, more than 600 audiences can sit there. Also, there are exhibition hall, conference halls, open terraces. This will help people of Jaffna.”
