Women employees in PoK receive no salaries under ‘Kamyab Khwateen Programme’

Muzaffarabad, PoK, 23 May 2023: - A group of women employees in Muzaffarabad city of Pakistan occupied Kashmir came out to protest against the government for non-payment of their salaries. Running shams in the name of policies for women's empowerment in the illegally occupied territories has been a popular activity of the Pakistan government. Sardar Tanveer Ilyas, the former Prime Minister of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir inaugurated the ‘Kaamyaab Khwateen Programme’ in December last year for creating job opportunities and empowerment of women in the region.
