Wood carving exhibition featuring master artisan Ghulam Nabi Zargar attracts visitors to Srinagar

Srinagar (J&K), July 21 (ANI): Two-day unique wood carving exhibition featuring master artisan Ghulam Nabi Zargar commenced in Srinagar. The exhibition is being organised by the Department of Handicrafts and Handlooms at the heritage building of Kashmir government arts emporium. It aims to promote the exquisite artwork done by renowned artisans of the valley. Ghulam Nabi Zargar Master Wood Carving Artisan is one of the personalities who contributed a lot to keep the wood carving alive with his golden hands. The exhibition displays unique products made of the finest walnut wood of Kashmir valley, known for its superior quality and high demand in the international market. The government has been actively working to uplift the art and artisan community by organising various events and exhibitions.
