Yoga Mahotsav 2025: Curtain Raiser to 11th edition of International Yoga Day

New Delhi, Mar 13 (ANI): As the world gears up for the 11th International Day of Yoga, the Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga (MDNIY) hosted the grand Yoga Mahotsav 2025 at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi, marking the 100-day countdown to this year’s celebration on June 21. The grand event was graced by esteemed guests, including Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare, Prataprao Jadhav, Head of Yoga Vidya Gurukul, Vishwas Mandlik, Padma Vibhushan awardee and Member of Parliament, Dr. D Veerendra Heggade, along with other senior officials. The Yoga Mahotsav 2025 witnessed participation from esteemed yoga gurus, health professionals, and yoga enthusiasts from across the country. It also aimed to fostering awareness and encouraging global participation in the practice. The Director of Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga, Kashinath Samagandi addressed the gathering at Yoga Mahotsav 2025, emphasizing the transformative power of yoga in promoting holistic well-being. Around 100 Cities and 100 Organizations will participate in the 100 days’ countdown to promote Yoga. Yoga is an ancient practice that originated in India over 5,000 years ago. As Yoga Mahotsav 2025 paves the way for the grand celebration on June 21st, the world prepares to embrace yoga’s timeless essence—one breath, one posture, and one moment of peace at a time.
