"We must ensure that minorities' rights are protected," Congress leader Ramesh Chennithala on JPC for 'Waqf' bill

Congress leader Chennithala backed the decision of the central government to refer Waqf Amendment Bill to the Joint Parliamentary Committee and emphasised that minorities rights should not be snatched away.
Congress leader Chennithala said, "The government did not discuss with anybody before introducing this bill (in Lok Sabha). It is good that a Joint Parliamentary Committee has been formed, discussions will take place"
