SC halts property demolitions nationwide until October 1, excludes unauthorised constructions on public roads

The Supreme Court on Tuesday directed that across the country, no demolition of property will take place without permission of the court till October 1, the next date of hearing.But clarified this order will not be applicable on any unauthorised construction on public roads, footpaths, among others.
