New Delhi, September 26(ANI): Lieutenant Governor of Delhi Vinai Kumar Saxena visited Delhi Police Academy at Jharoda Kalan recently. During the visit, the LG took a round of indoor and outdoor infrastructure of training and other facilities, including the Firing Range. On this occasion, Delhi Police Commissioner Sanjay Arora welcomed the LG and briefed him about the training activities of the Delhi Police Academy. During his welcome address, the CP highlighted that the crime trend is now changing. Therefore, fresh inductees are being trained to handle the dark net and other cyber crimes with the latest techniques. During this occasion, the LG congratulated trainees for joining the renowned police force of the country while interacting with them. He emphasized on the importance of quality training and best facilities in making the force strong. He also asserted that police personnel should show sympathetic behaviour towards the needy and marginalized and should offer services with full devotion and dedication to gain the confidence of the public. Many senior officers from the academy were present during the occasion.
