Mohamed Bin Zayed University for Humanities launches Authentic Identity and Sustainable Heritage initiative

The Mohamed Bin Zayed University for Humanities (MBZUH) has launched the Authentic Identity and Sustainable Heritage initiative to promote awareness of Emirati heritage and its link to cultural and social sustainability. The initiative features interactive programs, including workshops on Emirati coffee traditions and falconry training, aimed at preserving and passing on national identity to future generations. Chancellor Khalifa Mubarak Al Dhaheri highlighted the program's role in transforming national identity into a continuous experience, aligning with the UAE's vision of balancing progress with authentic roots.

Mohammed bin Rashid issues Decree establishing Dubai Resilience Centre

Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, in his capacity as the Ruler of Dubai, has issued Decree No. (48) of 2024 to establish the Dubai Resilience Centre. The entity aims to enhance Dubai's capacity to manage risks, emergencies, crises, and disasters, reinforcing its position as a global leader in agility and preparedness. The Centre, under the Supreme Committee of Crisis and Disaster Management, will coordinate resilience planning, conduct data analysis, develop response strategies, and execute simulation exercises. All entities in Dubai are mandated to support the Centre, which will report directly to the Supreme Committee.
